Jack Petchey Awards Celebrates Chelmsford College Learners
On the 13th July 2026, learners and staff from Chelmsford College attended the Jack Petchey Foundation Awards at Chelmsford Theatre. The annual event celebrates young people who have shown dedication and determination in their studies and wider personal lives.
This year, an impressive 17 Chelmsford College learners received Jack Petchey Achievement Awards. The special evening gave winners the opportunity to celebrate their success alongside fellow awardees from Essex.
The memorable night featured VIP performances and special guests, making it enjoyable for all. This included an impressive Irish dancing performance and two singers, with powerful voices, who blew the audience away. There was a very poignant keynote speech from Nick Alston, Deputy Lieutenant representative of Essex, that also inspired attendees.
Chelmsford College would like to congratulate each of the award winners and looks forward to celebrating more success at next year's Jack Petchey Awards.
