Chelmsford College Celebrates Essex Pride
As an institution dedicated to inclusion with a commitment of being “Inclusive by Design, Chelmsford College were proud to return to Essex Pride on the 20th June. Members of the College team proudly represented the College, spending the day meeting visitors, sharing information about the College and celebrating diversity with the local community.
The team made sure to make the most of the day bringing with them a range of fun activities for the general public to enjoy. Their stall included face painting, free merch bags with a selection of exciting Chelmsford College goodies and lots of selfies using the Instagram frame. Positioned at stall number 1, the team enjoyed a prime location that enabled them to speak to lots of attendees about the opportunities available at Chelmsford College.
Essex Pride provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate inclusion and the College is proud to have helped create an inclusive fun environment at the event. Although Pride Month may be over, Chelmsford College remains committed to having an environment where everyone feels welcome and supported.
As it is every year, it was a great day celebrating Pride and sparking positive conversations within the wider community. A huge thanks goes to Lucy Gudgeon, Lecturer in Bespoke Provision, and the wider College team for organising and attending the event.
