Jack Petchey Achievement Award Winners Announced
Chelmsford College is delighted to announce the winners of this term’s Jack Petchey Achievement Award, celebrating learners who have demonstrated outstanding commitment, progress and positive contribution to College life.

The winners of the award are Max, Izak, Keira, Daniel, Katy and Colby. Each of these learners have been recognised for their individual achievements, whether through academic efforts, personal development, teamwork, leadership or their positive impact on others. The Jack Petchey Achievement Award is designed to highlight and reward young people who go above and beyond, often overcoming challenges or showing dedication and resilience.
As part of the award, each winner will receive £300, which they can spend on an item or experience that will benefit or enhance their learning environment. This could include resources, equipment, activities or opportunities that support education, wellbeing or collaboration, allowing the award to have a lasting impact. Some ideas discussed already have been games consoles, speakers and furniture to enhance the on-site Common Room and Gym.
Staff at Chelmsford College praised the winners for their hard work, noting that they represent the values of the Jack Petchey Foundation. The awards not only recognise personal success but also encourage learners to think about how their achievements can positively influence others through deciding how to spend their reward.
Chelmsford College congratulates all six award winners on their well-deserved recognition and looks forward to seeing how their awards will be used to enrich the learning experience for their peers.
