Chelmsford College Recruitment Event Welcomes Industry Professionals
Chelmsford College opened its doors on Wednesday 6 November for its Inspire to Teach Recruitment Event, hosted in partnership with Dovetail & Slate at the Princes Road campus. The event invited professionals from construction, building services and public sector backgrounds to discover how they could bring their industry expertise into the classroom.
Across the evening, guests from the plumbing, construction, engineering, and uniformed services sectors explored opportunities to begin or develop a rewarding career in education. Attendees met with hiring managers and college staff, toured the College’s specialist workshops and facilities and heard inspiring stories from lecturers who have successfully made the transition from industry to teaching.
The event created a lively atmosphere with plenty of conversations and enthusiasm from visitors keen to learn more about teaching and training roles at the College. Staff were impressed by the level of engagement and the wealth of experience attendees had.
Chelmsford College is currently recruiting for a range of positions, including Lecturers in Brickwork and Electrical Installation as well as support vacancies.
