The Highly Commended status effectively places the team in second position - a significant recognition for a department that has worked tirelessly to support learners with diverse needs through personalised pathways, dedicated support and innovative approaches.

Rob Olding, Chelmsford College’s Inspire Bespoke Provision Manager, spoke proudly of the achievement by stating "This is a result of five years of hard work, development and inclusivity. The team deserve every bit of recognition they get and I’m proud to manage them and see the impact they have on our learners."

The Bespoke Provision team’s approach to inclusion and independence empowers learners to overcome barriers, develop life skills, and progress confidently into their futures with the comprehensive Bespoke Provision Course for SEN (RARPA). Their recognition at the Essex Teaching Awards highlights not only their excellence in further education but also the vital role they play in transforming lives.

Chelmsford College congratulates the team on this well-earned achievement and looks forward to continuing to be Inclusive by Design.
