Entrepreneurial Business Student Gives Advice To New Students

Don’t worry if you haven’t got a business idea straight away, the enterprise team will work with you to develop your ideas and turn them into a reality. Daniel Obasemo says.

7th Tier - Work

Daniel is a current student on the BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma programme. As part of his course, he founded "7th Tier", a clothing business which specialises in custom-designed hoodies, tees and crop tops. Daniel and his team of young creatives look at different influences to design clothing to suit the needs of the current market. Not only is 7th Tier a clothing brand but Daniel regularly promotes young creatives on his blog and podcasts, providing a platform for young people to get their own work noticed.

7th Tier - Team

Daniel’s advice for any potential student is "The key is to give it your best shot, your ideas may change along the way but the course is something I would definitely recommend. It’s not like school, you have the freedom to develop your ideas, whilst studying for a business qualification which opens doors to University, Apprenticeships or graduate level employment".

Daniel has also been successful in placing his products with a retailer – HotBox on Viaduct Rd in Chelmsford.
