The Football Academy
We offer talented individuals the chance to train with top-quality coaches to enhance their skills.

The Football Academy originally formed in 2011 and it has aided many enthusiastic football players with different levels of ability improve their skills and overall game.
Players are selected through a series of football sessions and will have a choice of studying the following qualifications alongside your training and matches:
Girls’ qualifications
With training starting later in the day the girls football academy has a greater array of college courses available. For more information call Dave Cornwell on 01245 293119 or email David Cornwell
Girls’ college courses are tailored so you can attend football training on Monday: 4.30pm, Friday: 4.30pm, and play matches on Wednesday: 1.30pm KO (transportation is provided to training, to and from matches, but players can also make their own way).
Those players (boys and girls) who really excel may have the opportunity to progress onto senior football at a semi-professional level or with professional clubs who we have excellent relationships with.
The Football Academy also has many contacts that can help you gain a soccer scholarship in the USA after completing your course, and they’ll provide professional support and have a wealth of knowledge to access to a wide network of universities.
Apprenticeships: Once you have successfully completed your studies over one or two years, there are opportunities to progress into one of our 16 apprenticeship programmes. For further information, please contact David Cornwell at Chelmsford College.
