16-18

Courses displaying this symbol indicate that if you are aged 16 - 18 (at 31st August 2016) tuition, college membership and exam/registration fees will be free. This does not include exam resits. If you require a kit or special materials for a course, which you keep, you will be expected to pay for this.

Discounted Fees

Courses displaying this symbol indicate a discount of 10% of the tuition fee will be given for a single payment for courses of 25 weeks or more (this does not apply to work based programmes, Higher Education Courses and payment by 24+ Advanced Learning Loans). Discounted fees are only available when the full year fee (or the fee for all units) is paid by the start date of the course.

Full Level 1 Qualification

Courses displaying this symbol indicate that if you are aged 19-23 at the start of your course and do not hold a Level 2 qualification, you will not have to pay tuition fees if you intend to progress to a Level 2.

Full Level 2 Qualification

Courses displaying this symbol indicate that if you are aged 19-23 years old at the start of your course and do not already have a full Level 2 qualification you may be eligible for this funding and you may not have to pay tuition fees.

Full Level 3 / 4 Qualification

Courses displaying this symbol indicate that if you are aged 19-23 years old at the start of your course and do not already have a full Level 3 qualification you may be eligible for this funding and you may not have to pay tuition fees.

Other Government Funding

Courses displaying this symbol indicate that you may be eligible for free tuition and exam fees or help towards payment if:

• You are in receipt of Job Seeker's Allowance (JSA) or Employment Support Allowance (ESA) with Work Related Activity Group (WRAG)
• You are 19+ and in receipt of a state benefit and wish to enter employment and need skills training to do so, this is at the discretion of the Provider.

Full Cost

Courses displaying this symbol are not eligible for free tuition.

16-18 Apprenticeship

This qualification forms part of an apprenticehsip framework and if you are aged 16-18 the apprenticeship is fully funded and therefore no tuition or exam fees are payable.

19+ Apprenticeship

This qualification forms part of an apprenticehsip framework and if you are aged 19+ there is a requirement of an employer contribution. If you are aged 24 or over and studying a Level 3 or higher framework you would be expected to make a contribution towards the cost of your training. 19+ Advanced Learning Loan

Courses displaying this symbol indicate that if you are aged 19-23 and have already achieved a full level 3 qualification or 24 and over and require help with paying for the tuition fee, you may be eligible for the Government's 19+ Advanced Learning Loan.
