A Night of Talents and Tours at Chelmsford College Showcase
Chelmsford College’s final Showcase open evening of the academic year saw prospective learners tour classrooms, meet tutors and current learners and experience first-hand the facilities and community that defines the College’s two campuses. With staff on hand to answer questions and learners sharing their own journeys and showing off the buildings, the evening offered a glimpse into what future learners decide on their next steps being at Chelmsford College.
Adding even more excitement to the night, the Creative Industries team hosted a vast Art & Media Exhibition alongside an impressive Fashion Show. Friends, family and members of the public filled Moulsham Street’s Refectory, Learning Resource Centre and immersive Igloo space to celebrate the creativity and talent of the learners. From thought provoking artwork to innovative media pieces and beautifully crafted clothes, the event highlighted the dedication and skills that the learners have been displaying throughout the year.
Érin Hanlon, Deputy Head of Creative Industries, praised the team’s achievements, saying, "The Creative Industries team and learners did an amazing job and seeing all their hard work pay off was so rewarding. Thank you to everyone who attended!"
With such a successful close to the year’s Showcase open evenings, Chelmsford College looks forward to welcoming the next cohort of learners who were inspired by what they saw on the 20th May.
