Business Learners Impress at Chelmsford College’s ENTFEST 2026
ENTFEST made a return on Friday the 15th May taking place in Chelmsford College’s Sports Hall showcasing the business learners’ impressive display of entrepreneurial ideas and products. ENTFEST provided the business learners with a chance to pitch and present their ideas to real employers, peers and staff judges… and this year’s cohort rose to the challenge with outstanding professionalism and confidence.
Throughout the morning, learners showcased a wide range of business concepts, from sustainable products to fashion brands, water bottles and retail ideas. Their pitches demonstrated not only creativity but also strong communication skills, market research and a genuine passion for their ideas. Staff and visitors alike were impressed by the standard of work on display and the maturity with which learners handled questions from the judges.
After much deliberation, the judges announced this year’s award winners as:
• Best in Sustainability: Hektoras for Natural Aura
• Best Pop Up Shop: Freddie for Lanewood Bottles
• Best Entrepreneur: Zach for ZB Attire
• Best Entrepreneurial Business Idea: Max & Oliver for Strike 9
Each winner impressed with their originality and ability to articulate a clear vision for their business with demos and presentations.
A thank you goes to Sharon Wuyts, Business Lecturer, whose organisation ensured another hugely successful ENTFEST. Reflecting on the day, Sharon said, "Today was more than just an event, it was a celebration of confidence, ambition and future entrepreneurs in the making. Thank you again to everyone involved. We truly value the continued collaboration and support."
Well done to all learners who took part, you made this year’s ENTFEST one to remember!
