Learners Welcomed to Chelmsford College With a Packed Freshers Week 2025
The 2025–26 academic year is well underway as Chelmsford College officially welcomed its new starters and returning learners with a lively Freshers Fair that brought students, staff and community partners together.
Running from the 8th-12th September, the Freshers Fair gave both new and returning learners the opportunity to explore a wide variety of stalls, network with local organisations and discover opportunities available on and off campus. From Barclays UK and Essex Police to Coca-Cola and Chelmsford Community Radio, the fair saw a variety of employers and community services speak to learners and help make their first week at Chelmsford College an exciting one.
Learners were encouraged to get involved, meet fellow students who were hosting stalls too and explore the wide range of enrichment opportunities on offer. System Driving School also brought an added element of excitement with a giveaway competition for a free driving lesson.
Staff described this year’s Freshers Week as one of the most successful yet, with strong attendance and engagement across all days. Learners left with new connections, useful information and plenty of enthusiasm for the year ahead.
Chelmsford College looks forward to building on this momentum with more events and activities designed to support and inspire throughout the 2025/26 academic year.
