Chelmsford College Celebrates Success at 2025 Awards Event
Chelmsford College proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements of its learners at the 2025 Awards Event, held on Tuesday 24th June 2025 at St John’s Church. The annual event brought together learners, staff, parents and guardians, employers, and stakeholders to recognise the exceptional effort and success of learners across all areas of the College.
The evening was enjoyable and inspirational, filled with pride and emotional moments as learners were presented with awards in front of their peers and families. Awards were given across a wide range of curriculum areas, recognising academic excellence, progress and commitment. In addition to subject-specific recognition, cross-college awards celebrated learners who demonstrated outstanding qualities such as resilience, personal development and contributions to the College community.
The celebration was not only about achievements inside the classroom, it also recognised the personal journeys many learners have taken, overcoming challenges and showing determination to succeed. Whether preparing for university, employment, or further vocational training, each learner reflected Chelmsford College’s values of ambition, inclusion and excellence.
David Warnes, Principal and CEO of Chelmsford College, reflected on the significance of the evening by stating “Another academic year comes to an end at Chelmsford College as we celebrate the amazing achievements of our learners and wish them well for their futures. This Awards Evening is always one of the highlights of our year. It allows us to come together as a community to recognise the hard work and resilience of our learners, as well as the support provided by our dedicated staff, families and stakeholders.”
The event also served as a celebration of the College’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality education and training opportunities that meet the needs of local learners and employers. With strong links to industry and a curriculum designed to prepare learners for the future, Chelmsford College continues to be a key part of the region’s educational landscape.
Guests enjoyed a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the evening, which included inspiring citations of learner success presented by key members of the College. Each awardee left with not only a certificate, engraved award and voucher but also the recognition of their incredible hard work and potential.
