Expanding Green Skills Opportunities at Chelmsford College
As a college dedicated to reaching net zero by 2040, leaders from Chelmsford College greeted various stakeholders and businesses on the 13th of February at the Princes Road campus to discuss all things green skills.
Upon arrival, guests enjoyed light refreshments and a warm welcome from Sarah Hamilton, Executive Director of Innovation and Partnerships. David Warnes, CEO and Principal of Chelmsford College, followed with a thorough presentation highlighting the various Green Skills Courses | Chelmsford College newly launched, including opportunities on retrofit and renewables. A thought-provoking roundtable discussion then took place which saw guests and staff talk through the benefits and necessities of green skills.
Overall, the event was a success and helped Chelmsford College identify ways to support the local community and learners looking to make a positive impact on the planet.
