The competition brought together ten aspiring young chefs, each tasked with creating impressive dishes on a tight £5 budget. The dishes were presented to a panel of four judges, who carefully evaluated the creativity, presentation, and taste of each plate.

A huge well done to Beyzd and Abby, whose outstanding dishes earned them the top spots! Both winners will advance to the regional competition on 12th February 2025, where they will benefit from expert mentorship provided by Executive/Head Chefs and Judges Robert Pearce and Ronald Marriott.

The competition welcomed talented learners from:
• Langham Oaks
• Comberton Village College
• Plume Academy
• Thomas Gainsborough School
• Camborne Village College
• St. Bede's Inter-Church School

The hard work and support of Cheryl Lennon, Debbie Garroway, Lisa Houghton, and the extended team at Chelmsford College made this event successful. Their dedication ensured the competition ran smoothly and provided an inspiring platform for the next generation of culinary talent.
