PDW Proves Successful at Chelmsford College
With the learners off taking their well-deserved summer break, the staff of Chelmsford College spent July 1st-5th focusing on their professional development with PDW (Professional Development Week).
With a jam-packed event programme, staff had a range of directed and bookable activities to aid their professional development. Ranging from AI workshops to mental health first aid training, amongst many more, the staff at Chelmsford College delved into new topics and old to boost their skill set and remain up to date with the latest training.
Midweek, Wednesday focused on wellbeing, with various activities on offer that allowed the staff time to reset away from work-based tasks. Such activities included rock painting, reflexology, helping out in the secret garden, and mindful colouring, to name a few. This is a great opportunity for the various departments to come together.
With lunch provided all week, the week closed with an all-staff summer BBQ, closing what had been a productive PDW. Chelmsford College is proud to be an employer that cares for its staff and looks forward to hosting similar events in the future to benefit all staff.
