Progression Fair - 10 May 2022
Chelmsford College is looking forward to welcoming over 95 exhibitors to the College on Tuesday 10 May as part of Progression Fair. The annual event brings together Essex businesses, voluntary organisations, training providers, colleges and universities to ensure Chelmsford College learners can explore all their options for making their next career choices.
This year's Progression Fair will include an exhibition in the Dovedale Sports Hall, along with a Supported Learning Zone for Extended Learning, talks and online resources. Jo Blackmore, Information, Advice and Guidance Adviser at Chelmsford College said "We're delighted to welcome everyone back in person. We're looking forward to a really lively event, packed with information, inspiration and sound career advice."
Amongst others, Anglia Ruskin University, University of Essex and Make Happen will provide talks to help College learners find out more about progressing into Higher Education.
Andy Sparks, Principal of Chelmsford College says "It's fantastic news that we're able to re-introduce Progression Fair in person following two years of coronavirus restrictions. Nothing beats being able to engage and network with employers and training providers face-to-face and we're delighted our learners are able to experience this as part of our Progression Fair this year. I hope they take every opportunity to explore their career options and next steps and feel excited and inspired by the options available to them."
Free careers advice and support will be available to learners beyond the event, through the Careers Advice Zone Team by calling 01245 293031 or emailing careersadvicezone@chelmsford.ac.uk
