The Travel & Tourism with Cabin Crew study programme is designed to equip you with the advanced knowledge and work-ready skills needed to progress onto a university course or to start a successful career in the sector. The qualification is tailored to the needs and interests of people aspiring to work in a Travel and Tourism or Aviation career. 

This Level 3 Travel and Tourism course consists of a wide variety of specialist areas such as:

Work Experience 

Learners will undertake a minimum of 30 hours of work experience each year of a study programme at Chelmsford College with an external organisation that meets the industry / sector-specific requirements. Learners will need to seek these placements independently and can also seek support from their personal tutor and stakeholder engagement team. 

Visits and Vocational activities 

Travel and Tourism is an active course, out and about making contact with employers in the sector for training, educational insight and experience. Some examples of the activities carried out are: 

  • Stansted Aerozone training day
  • Airline training day 
  • Local attractions/business research activities
  • City day breaks (insight to tourism)
  • Team building activities

Progression and Employment Opportunities
