| Description | We are seeking an experienced MIS Systems Developer (Unit-e) to join our MIS & Digital Transformation team in Chelmsford, Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our Unit-e Management Information System and associated applications.
As an MIS Systems Developer, you will design and implement custom solutions, ensure data integrity, and deliver insightful reporting to support operational and strategic objectives. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, providing technical expertise and driving continuous improvement.
What you’ll do:
Develop and customise Unit-e MIS solutions to meet business needs.
Create scripts, reports, and workflows to optimise system functionality.
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
Build dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and SQL Reporting Services.
Provide technical support and maintain system performance.
Collaborate on MIS-related projects and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.
What we’re looking for: Proven experience with Unit-e MIS development and support.
Strong SQL and scripting skills, with knowledge of database management.
Experience in system integration and API development.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable: Knowledge of education sector data requirements (ILR, ESFA returns).
Experience with Power BI and cloud-based solutions.
