Description | The College requires an IT Services Infrastructure Engineer to join its IT Team. This role will be a champion for maintaining our Windows server estate, which includes adhering to the Cyber Essentials certification. Main responsibility is to ensure the secure and up to date running of the servers, managing group policies, anti-virus updates in line with policy, backups, cloud storage and to work with IT colleagues on the development and implementation of new, or enhancement of existing IT systems. Maintaining and configuring the Cisco hardware and the firewall will also be a regular function of the role.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience of IP Telephony, MS Hyper-V and cloud-based storage solutions would be an advantage.
Please note that this post may require some evening and weekend work.
