Careers & Course Information

The Careers and Course Information Centre team provide support and guidance to help learners navigate their way through the maze of decisions regarding their futures.

There are a variety of ways support is provided:

  • Individual guidance interviews
  • Information on progression routes
  • Job vacancies through the Careers Forum on the student intranet
  • Progression Fair
  • Apprenticeship Fair
  • Workshops on topics such as CV writing, job hunting, personal statements etc

Within the Careers and Course Information Centre there is a wide range of literature available on careers, universities, job hunting and apprenticeships etc.

The aim of the Centre is to provide learners with the skills and knowledge to make informed and realistic decisions about the future and to help achieve goals.

Appointments can be booked by visiting the Information Centre, by telephone, email or by ticking the box on the application form. Alternatively drop-in visits are welcome during opening hours.

Details of job vacancies including apprenticeships and volunteering opportunities are advertised on notice boards outside the Centre and on the Careers Forum on the intranet.
