English Language Classes
An Introduction to EFL and ESOL at Chelmsford College
Chelmsford College has a well established programme of English Language Courses operating within the Department of Adult and Continuing Education. These courses provide for the needs of those whose first language is not English and who want to improve their English skills. There are programmes for non-native speakers living and working in the area and also for those from overseas who wish to attend in order to improve their English and gain a recognised qualification.
The courses on offer include part-time day and evening classes of between 2 ½ and 5 hours per week and full-time courses of up to 16 hours per week. These courses all lead to qualifications through the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations.
The College is accredited by the British Council under their inspection programme and is a member of English UK.
