Tutor Support
Each course will have a tutor who is there to support students throughout their time at the College and questions or difficulties regarding the course should be referred to your Course Tutor in the first instance. If you would like further information please ring 01245 265611 and ask for our Course Information Centre. The Centre is open Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm.
Learning Difficulties, Disability & Additional Learning Support
We welcome applications from students with disabilities &/or learning difficulties and aim to provide support that is tailored to individual needs. The College's Disability Statement is available on request.
Support is provided on a range of courses which have been specifically designed to help students to develop their learning. Individual and small group programmes are offered to students who need to develop their English, Maths and Study Skills through specialist literacy, numeracy and dyslexia support and the provision of support assistants.
If you have a disability or learning difficulty, please tell us when you come for your interview and make sure that you tick the box on the enrolment card. You will then be given a confidential individual needs questionnaire. Please return this as quickly as possible so that we can start the process of assessing your needs and arranging an interview with the ALS Manager.
