Careers and Course Information Centre

The Course and Careers Information Centre team at the college are here to provide you with support and guidance as you navigate your way through a maze of decisions regarding your course choice, career and training options and higher education.

We can provide support in a variety of ways including individual interviews, information on progression routes, job vacancies through the College Student Job Shop and Student Job Shop intranet site, Higher Education and Employment Fairs, workshops on topics such as C.V. writing, job hunting, personal statements etc.

We have two Careers and Course Information Centres, Moulsham Street and Princes Road, where there is a wide range of literature available on careers, universities, job hunting and access to interactive computer packages. Advice is also available at Copleston Court.

Appointments can be booked by calling in to one of the Information Centres, via your personal tutor, by telephone or email. Alternatively drop-in visits are welcome during opening hours.

Details of job vacancies including apprenticeships and volunteering opportunities are advertised on the notice boards outside the centres and on the Student Employment site on the College intranet. You can register with the Student Job Shop to be kept informed of any vacancies that interest you.
